Housekeeping
These services are available to people needing companionship and help with activities of daily living, such as housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, personal care, shopping, and errands. Income guidelines do apply.
Transportation
The Health Department has a handicapped accessible van and three other vehicles available for transportation for people sixty years and above for doctor’s appointments and shopping. There is a suggested donation for trips to Galesburg, Burlington, Monmouth, in town, Iowa City, Peoria, and Quad Cities. You will not be denied services if you are unable to donate. Partial funding by WIAAA.
