Through a grant from IL Tobacco-Free Communities, the Henderson County Health Department will offer smoking cessation classes to adults in Henderson and Warren Counties. Programs will include:

Smoke-Free Restaurants
IDPH will recognize restaurants that are, or become smoke-free with a certificate signed by the Governor of IL. The Health Dept. will promote the project in our community and will identify restaurants to be recognized.

Freedom from Smoking
The eight week clinic format consists of eight sessions. The classes are to prepare the smoker to quit over the eight week sessions. Participants will be offered a limited supply of Nicoderm™ patches to get them started.
